1. A protagonist who's doing bad things (taking over the world) for good reasons (the world is currently run very badly).
2. An antagonist who's doing good things (defeating villains) for bad reasons (ego gratification, schadenfreude, just plain playground-bully meanness).
3. The evil protagonist actually notices other people and cares what they like (frozen yogurt) and dislike (being thrown into piles of garbage). The good antagonist, not so much.
4. The MUSIC! Obviously the Buffy musical was not a fluke.
5. Nobody writes dialogue like Joss Whedon. ("But sometimes there's a third, even deeper layer that's the same as the first layer. Like pie.")
6. I want three singing cowboys to narrate all MY correspondence.
And one big thing I don't like (spoiler)
