Ten Things I've Done That You Probably Haven't

Not that any one item is particularly spectacular, but at least they make an unusual combination. I have:

1. Captured, measured and tagged nesting sea turtles
2. Baptized one of my own children
3. Been named a member of both Phi Beta Kappa AND Phi Theta Kappa
4. Eaten rattlesnake and blackbird (not at the same time)
5. Earned a black belt in taekwondo, starting at age 40
6. Gotten married at age 19 (27 years ago... and counting)
7. Let my kids eat pancakes in the tub
8. Conversed in sign with a deaf-blind person
9. Seen Forrest Griffin (of The Ultimate Fighter) in his underwear
10. Grown roses from seed
